Liability Waiver
I acknowledge that I am participating in Pilates classes offered by my teacher Rosie Dwyer where I will receive information and instruction about Pilates, physical exercise and health. I am fully aware that the class/routine requires physical exertion which may cause physical injury, I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
It is inadvisable to do Pilates between weeks 8 to 14 of pregnancy, unless by special arrangement with your teacher. It is also wise to wait 6 weeks and to get clearance by your health practitioner before resuming exercise after birth . Pilates with Rosie routines are not specifically tailored for pre or post natal Pilates or specific conditions unless specified. Pilates exercises are very safe but, as with all forms of physical exercise, it is prudent to consult your doctor before starting sessions. It is recommended that you consult with a physician before starting a new exercise program and follow their safety recommendations.
These sessions are not a substitute for medical counselling or treatment. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the exercises, you should refer back to your medical practitioner.
The teacher, Rosie Dwyer, can accept no liability for personal injury or damages related to participation in a session online via zoom, in person or prerecorded on the rosiesophia.com website or the Pilates with Rosie Youtube Channel. Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable for you.
With this knowledge, I confirm that I am making a voluntary choice to participate and engage in the class/routine and accept all and any risk associated with my decision to participate. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in these Pilates classes. By taking class with Rosie Dwyer virtually, in person or via her content online, you understand and agree that Rosie Dwyer has no liability to you for any injury or loss you may suffer in connection with any Pilates session.
The use of any information provided by Rosie Dwyer is solely at your own risk. I confirm agreement for my teacher to contact me with information on classes and other Pilates activities and relevant information through email and the Rosie Sophia newsletter and understand that I have the right to withdraw this ‘consent to be contacted’ at any time.
I confirm that I have read and understood the above advice and that the information. I voluntarily agree to the above liability waiver and terms and conditions under my own free will.
