Pilates was created in the late 1920’s by Joseph Pilates. It is a low-impact form of exercise that is accessible to everyone and can be adapted in many ways to suit the individual.
It is a great way to strengthen your core, improve posture, ease back pain and increase flexibility. The benefits are honestly endless…Oh and it can also give you a cute peachy bum! ;)
In Pilates, we focus on moving with control, finding quality in the movement and deepening that mind-body connection, all whilst linking it with the breath.
Pilates is a practice that leaves you feeling better in your mind, body and soul.
What is Pilates?
In my classes, I will guide you through flowing sequences that will challenge your strength, balance and co-ordination.
My public classes are open to all abilities, allowing you stay at whatever level feels most comfortable for you. I encourage all my clients to have fun with the exercises and “smile through the burn”.
You will leave my class feeling stronger, stretched and balanced.
“Move your body for enjoyment, not punishment”
Pilates with Rosie
I love the simplicity of Pilates. All you need is your beautiful body and a mat. It can be practiced anytime, anywhere and by anyone.
It is kind enough to the mind and body that it can be performed daily.
I have had the joy of witnessing the Pilates benefits take place in my clients not only physically, but also mentally. Whether that is helping them to move a little freer, ease back pain, recover from an injury or simply take a mental break from the world…As I have said before, the benefits from Pilates are endless.
I am incredibly grateful to be able to share the wonders of Pilates with other people and call it a “job”. Come and join me for a class and experience the Pilates magic for yourself.
My love for Pilates
